The questions that each event configuration raises

Each event has its own dynamics: multiple entrances, saturated areas, queues, wide aisles or narrow corridors.

01

How do you accurately track entries when crowds arrive in dense waves?

02

How do you account for re-entries and exits to calculate true attendance at any moment?

03

Can you count large flows accurately when people move in groups or waves?

04

Can you measure zone attractiveness without capturing personal image data?

05

How do you control access to a restricted area without dedicated staff?

our advice for event counting

Our Recommendations for Event Counting

Event attendance has unique characteristics: dense flows, grouped behaviors, rapid variations in intensity, assembly/disassembly constraints, and crowd areas that disrupt traditional sensors.
In this context, the quality of the data depends above all on the correct positioning of the sensor and on appropriate settings.

Passage Width: Narrow the entry to 1 meter for precise counting.

Strategic Placement: Avoid areas with crowd gathering or prolonged standing.

Avoid Disruptive Backgrounds: Position the device facing a stable surface (wall, hedge, panel) to prevent thermal interference.

Secure Installation: Use mounting brackets or screws, and prioritize an anti-vandal cover for outdoor use.

Regular Checks: Frequently verify that the device has not been moved or obstructed.

Legal requirements for event organizers

Any event welcoming the public in an establishment receiving the public is subject to strict requirements from the Construction and Civil Security Code. The organizer is responsible as soon as an audience is welcomed. In particular, you must be able to:

Define a maximum gauge validated by the safety commission.

Continuously monitor attendance, not only through the ticket office.

Be able to prove that legal capacity has not been exceeded.

Keep encrypted statements and communicable in case of control.

Ensure their legal responsibility : in the event of an overrun or an incident, the organizer may be held liable.

What event data brings you immediately

Attendance data is not just a final indicator. It structures your organization, secures your event and documents what is really happening there.
