Counting in 5 steps

1

Defining your needs

Fill in the quotation form to describe your needs. We will contact you to clarify your request and offer you a reliable technical response. You will receive a quotation with a guide that are tailored to your needs.

2

Fast shipping

Once we have received your signed quotation, we prepare the equipment. The counters are set up, programmed, tested and shipped by parcel post a few days before the start date of the count. As soon as you receive them, they are up and running.

3

Installs in 2 mins

You install the sensor(s) in the field in just 2 minutes. An accompanying manual explains where to place the units to ensure reliable counting (avoid stagnation of the public, check the correct counting width, etc.).

4

Data visualisation

During the automatic counting period, you can access your data in real time on your smartphone. This makes it easy to share the figures and check that the counting system is working properly.

5

Data processing

In addition to visualising counts on smartphones or computers, Kiomda provides its customers with detailed count reports (key figures, visitors per day/week/time slot/quarter-hour/per sensor, ratio per working day/weekend, etc.)

3

Our counting system

Kiomda counters use digital thermal detectors placed in the focal plane of a Fresnel lens.

When people or vehicles pass in front of the sensor beam, they concentrate infrared thermal radiation, anda patentedstereoscopic algorithm enables reliable, robust counting in both directions .

  • Counting width per sensor: 1 to 6 metres
  • Water resistance: IP68
  • Accuracy: +/- 10% for  3-metres-wide paths
  • Detection of passers-by's direction
  • Battery life from 6 to 24 months depending on data transmission frequency
  • Automatic data transmission to ourdedicated reporting website
  • Reports on visitor numbers and flow analysis.
